Goodness gracious how time flies!! I know the older I get, the more time seems to speed up! It's hard to believe that 9 years ago this week we found our property and started the year long process of creating the store! Then exactly 8 years ago this week we opened the doors to the store and set out on our journey. We have certainly poured blood, sweat and tears into our dream! We can't wait to see what is the Lord has instore for the future!

Well it is a very busy week as it is Quilt Week 2023! What a fun time getting to meet so many people from all over the USA and beyond! We have been super busy in the kitchen, needless to say, getting all our delicious lunches and sweet treats for everyone!
We are so excited to have officially debuted our new outdoor garden and seating area!!
It has been so fun to see folks using the space for dining outside with our lunches!!
Just a little quite spot in the hustle and bustle of the city!

Well let's get cooking with this week's recipe
This recipe is just an old fashioned favorite of ours and we hope you enjoy!
Pan-Fried Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients 2 to 3 Russet potatoes
½ onion, diced
2 T. butter
Chop 2 to 3 Russet potatoes.
salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions Chop 2 to 3 Russet potatoes. Place potatoes in a saucepan with 1 inch of water and boil.
While the potatoes are boiling, place 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet. Add 1/2 diced onion to non-stick skillet. Sauté onions and butter on stove set to medium-high. Once onions are brown, drain potatoes and place in skillet. Add salt and pepper to taste. Flip potatoes and cook until golden brown with crispy edges. Remove from heat and serve!
