What a WEEK!!!

Well Winter certainly made an entrance this week!! Who already has Spring Fever like me???? LOL We only have 61 more days folks! THE COUNT DOWN IS ON!!! Praying everyone has been safe and warm!!

But we have A BUNCH planned before we get to Spring!!! Speaking of, this weekend is our annual Winter Wonderland Open House!!! We can't wait to see you!! Thank you to all those who came and to see us today! Tomorrow (Friday) we will have FREE samples of our exclusive Lovin' Local blend coffee from the Paducah Coffee Company and our delicious new SNOWFLAKE pretzels! They are so scrumptious!!! We have a lot of NEW items debuting for the event and several give-away opportunities!!! So don't miss out! We will be here Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-3!

Well it is that time for our weekly recipe!!!! This week we are featuring a delicious breakfast slow cooker recipe! Now who wouldn't love that for this weekend??

Slow Cooker Western Omelet

This Crock Pot Western Omelet is a fabulous way to start any morning! Simply prepare the ingredients, place in your slow cooker before going to bed, and wake up to a fantastic breakfast. Everyone in the family will absolutely love it! 


1/2 T. olive oil

1/2 onion, chopped

1/2 green pepper, chopped

1 16 oz. bag frozen hash browns

1/2 lb. cooked ham, cubed

1 1/2 C. shredded cheddar cheese

6 eggs

1/2 C. whole milk

1/4 t. salt

1/4 t. pepper


In a pan, add 1/2 tablespoon olive oil. Place chopped vegetables in pan and sauté.

While vegetables are sautéing, dice 1/2 lb. cooked ham. When vegetables are done sautéing, allow them to cool. Coat the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray. Be sure to include the sides. Add 1/3 of 16 oz. bag of hash browns to the bottom of the slow cooker.

On top of the hash browns, add 1/3 of the chopped ham. Add 1/3 of 1 1/2 cup shredded cheese to top of chopped ham. Add 1/3 of the sautéed vegetables to the top of the cheese. Now, repeat this process twice, starting with the hash browns and adding layers in order. In a bowl, place 6 eggs and 1/2 cup whole milk. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper, or adjust to taste. Whip thoroughly. Pour egg mixture into slow cooker. Cook for 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on the size of your slow cooker.

Serve and enjoy!
