It's been a month of Sundays Y'all!!

Well I am glad to have a moment to sit down and write out a Blog post! I have had so much going on behind the scenes that I have not had the time or honestly the energy to type out a Blog post. I have definitely missed writing to you all and sharing updates, recipes and ideas. Thank you to those who have come in to shop with us, following along on social media and messaging checking up on us! We so appreciate you all for doing that!!

I want to wish everyone a belated Happy Spring and Easter!! Can you believe it is already MAY!!! Wow this year is certainly flying by!!!

Have you all enjoyed seeing all the beautiful flowers blooming??? It just brings a smile to my heart to see all the colors and feel that warmer breeze! Here is a little look at some of our blooms at home and the store!

Our beautiful miniature Japanese Iris!

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary, last week, during the Quilt Show! What a blessing to celebrate! The Lord has certainly seen us through all the valleys and mountain tops! So much prayer has and continues to be poured over our business. We have laughed, cried, grieved and celebrated with so many of our customer family these last 10 years. We have been honored to bake birthday, Valentines Day, gender reveal, anniversary and just because cakes for you all. I am most thankful for the life long friendships that have started only because of our meeting through the store! I am truly humbled at the blessings that have come through my life, all because we felt a calling from the Lord to follow His path for us by opening our store. I do not know what the next 10 years will look like, but I am confident in Who holds our years!

Next week we will be celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary with you all and we invite you to shop by and see us during the week! We hope you join us for our Anniversary Celebration!!

With May now here, TOMORROW (Saturday 5/3/25) we will be bring our heirloom non-GMO tomato plants over!! Come shop our wonderful selection!! They will GO FAST so don't delay! We will be here from 10-3 tomorrow, if you would like to beat the crowd next week!

Quick and Easy Pasta Salad

Such a great recipe we found from Inspired Taste! Be sure to check them out for more delicious recipes!

Pasta Salad

1 pound dried pasta like fusilli, penne, rotini or farfalle

1 cup sliced bell pepper, 1 medium

1 cup thinly sliced zucchini , 1/2 medium

1 cup halved cherry tomatoes

1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions, 5 to 6 green onions

1/4 cup sliced pepperoncini or banana peppers, optional

1 cup (4 ounces) halved mixed olives

1 cup (2 ounces) grated parmesan cheese or other hard cheese

1 cup (6 ounces) fresh mozzarella balls, chopped

1/3 cup fresh parsley or basil, optional

Homemade Dressing

1/3 cup red wine vinegar, white wine vinegar, or champagne vinegar

1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt, plus more to taste

1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

2 to 3 tablespoons juice from pepperoncini jar, optional

1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Directions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until tender, 6 to 10 minutes (check the package for recommended cook time). Drain and rinse well under cold water.

While the pasta cooks, make the dressing in the bottom of a large bowl. Whisk the red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano, pepperoncini juice (if using), and olive oil until blended. Add the drained and rinsed pasta to the dressing and mix well.

Stir in the bell pepper, zucchini, tomatoes, scallions, pepperoncini (if using), olives, parmesan, mozzarella, and herbs (if using). Taste for seasoning and adjust with salt and pepper as needed. Serve, or for the best results, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 5 days.

So easy and delicious!!!
