Happy Fall Y'all!!!

Oh what a GORGEOUS Fall kick off today!!! Thanking the Lord for such a blessing after the record heat of the last 2 days!!! To say we are excited for Fall is an understatement!!! We already have plans to be enjoying this weekend's cooler temps with some outdoor activities! There will most certainly be a fire in the firepit with an addition of some roasting of marshmallows! :)

What a wonderful turnout for our Fall Open House last weekend! We want to say a great big thank you to all those who made it in!! We sure hope you all enjoy all your goodies!!

This weekend is the BBQ on the River and we look forward to seeing lots of folks coming in to shop! We have definitely packed it full LOL

This years BBQ Festival will look a little different than in the years past, as it is literally across the street from our store! Now who's ready for some delish festival foods??

Hey don't forget to grab some of our famously delicious BBQ sauces while you are shopping with us!

Now that it is officially Fall, who wants a wonderful Autumn recipe that will be perfect to serve for breakfast, a dessert or even a "Breakfast" supper!!

We're using one of the Wind & Willow mixes that we carry for this weeks recipe. So stop in before they sell out! It is a seasonal flavor, so quantities are limited.

Maple Pecan French Toast with our Maple Syrup

Ingredients:

1 Maple Pecan French Toast cheeseball mix

8 slices of bread

3 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

Directions:

Preheat a non-stick skillet set over medium heat. In a mixing bowl whisk together Cheeseball Mix (Topping used later), eggs and milk until well combined. Pour into a shallow dish.

Butter skillet and dip bread into egg mixture (allowing a few seconds for it to absorb mixture), then rotate and coat opposite side. Transfer to skillet and cook until golden brown on bottom then flip French toast to opposite side and cook until golden brown.

Serve warm with butter, our delicious maple syrup and sprinkle with Topping packet! Garnish with nuts like pecans or walnuts and sprinkle with powdered sugar!

Tip: Use 6 slices of Texas toast (or other white bread such as Sourdough or French bread)

Hope you enjoy the maple goodness and let us know what you think on our Facebook page! Thank you for reading our blog & being a part of our adventure! Stay tuned for more fun super soon!

Until then, blessings from our house to yours!!
