Long time no see friends!!

Hello Friends! Well to say I have been remiss in my Blogs is an understatement!! LOL!!! How does life get away from us so fast?? My last Blog post was back on January 16th!! Goodness! I am definitely going to try harder to keep up with it!

Well we have had a lot going on here at the store and at home! We have been busy with the garden prep and Quilt Week was a couple weeks ago. The garden is coming along nicely and we are excited to start seeing the "fruits" of our labor soon! Speaking of fruit, I have been a busy bee trying to get our in-house homemade Strawberry Jam canned and will be working on getting our in-house homemade Strawberry Jalapeno Jam done soon!

Well let's talk about all that is going on this week!! We have BIG THINGS happening and want YOU to be in the know!!

First it is our 11 year ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION!!! Can you believe it? Boy how time flies!! Stop in all week for sales, specials and giveaway opportunities! We have stocked the store FULL with special things just for you!

Now let's get to our newest recipe to share with you all!

This week we are featuring a delicious strawberry dish that you will want to make over and over! With fresh berries being in season right now it is perfect timing, don't you think!!

Chicken Strawberry Broccoli Bowl

Make this delicious healthy Chicken Strawberry Broccoli Bowl that everyone will love! It features succulent chicken, heavenly fresh fruits and vegetables and a homemade dressing that will have you wanting to lick the bowl!

2 C. strawberries (sliced)

4 C. broccoli florets

1/4 C. red onions (chopped)

1/2 C. almonds (sliced)

1 red pepper (sliced)

2 C. chicken breast (cooked and cubed)

2 T. honey

2 T. lemon juice

1/2 C. mayonnaise (can substitute Greek yogurt)

Salt and pepper

Poppy seeds

Prepare fruits and vegetables, including broccoli, strawberries, onions, and red pepper, and place in a bowl. Cube 2 cups cooked chicken breast and place in bowl with fruits and vegetables. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, honey, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and poppy seeds to make dressing. Refrigerate for at least a few hours (this can be done in advance of the other steps). Pour the dressing into the bowl with the chicken, fruits, and vegetables. Toss thoroughly until ingredients are coated in dressing. Serve and enjoy this delicious, healthy meal!

How easy is that!! So yummy!!
