We are so excited!!!!

Guess what???? Have you seen the weather for this weekend??? Goodness I can hardly stand it!!! We can't wait! I may just go through my closet and pull out all my Fall apparel! Sweaters, scarves, jackets, boots OH MY! How about you, are you ready?

Well it is time for this weeks recipe! We thought this week we would feature something with apples!


Apple Pie Snickerdoodle Bars


Make these incredible Apple Pie Snickerdoodle bars for a dessert the whole family will love! Featuring apple and cinnamon, these bars are easy to make and are an absolutely perfect treat! Don't forget to add a scoop of ice cream for an over-the-top special treat!!


Ingredients 1/4 C. sugar

2 1/2 t. ground cinnamon

1 16.5 oz tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough, softened

1 20 oz. can apple pie filling

Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8″ x 8″ baking pan.

In a zippered plastic bag, combine 1/4 cup sugar and 2 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon. Shake well. Place 2/3’s of a tube of sugar cookie dough in the bottom of the greased pan.

Sprinkle evenly with 3 tablespoons of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Top with a can of apple pie filling. Place the rest of the dough on top of the apple pie filling. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
